Privacy Policy

Data controller: WAKANDA MARKETING SL (NIF B55286579), Calle Santiago Ramón y Cajal, nº 32, L4, 17190 Salt (Girona), Spain — info@siriolegal.com.

What data we process

  • Account data: company name, email, password (stored encrypted, never in plain text), registered office, tax ID and registration details.
  • Questionnaire data: sector, countries of operation and the other answers needed to generate your documents.
  • The documents you generate, and a log of their downloads (format, date and source IP) — kept so that, in the event of a dispute, we can show that a digital document that had already been downloaded was no longer subject to the right of withdrawal (Article 103(m) of the Spanish Consolidated Text of the General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users).
  • Technical access data: the IP address and browser of the devices you use to sign in (to alert you to sign-ins from a new device) and the server's technical logs (IP address and requests), for security.
  • If you write to us through the suggestions box: the text, your email if you give it to us and the IP address you send it from.
  • When you buy, the record of your express waiver of the right of withdrawal (date and time, IP, exact text accepted and version of these terms) and of the order confirmation email.
  • If you subscribe to the newsletter: your email, language, the date and IP address from which you requested the subscription and from which you confirmed it, and the text of the box you ticked (proof of your consent).
  • If you take part in the affiliate programme: name or company name, email, country, tax ID or VAT number, payment details (IBAN or other method), your website and channels, proof that you accepted its terms (date, IP and version), the number of visits arriving through your link and your commissions.
  • If you come to siriolegal through an affiliate's recommendation: which affiliate recommended you and when, and the commissions your purchases generate (amount and date). The affiliate receives none of your data: their dashboard only shows amounts, dates and statuses.
  • Origin of your visit: which channel you came from (campaign parameters in the address, affiliate code, domain of the referring website and entry page). It is stored with your sign-up, your newsletter subscription or your purchase, so we know which channels deliver results. If you accept in the cookie notice, your browser also remembers it for 60 days (key “siriolegal_origen”); otherwise it is only used during the visit. It includes no data that identifies you.

Legal basis

  • Performance of the contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR): account, questionnaire and generated documents.
  • Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR): download log, as evidence against possible claims; technical access data and server logs, for the security of the service; backups, for its continuity.
  • Legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR): record of the waiver of the right of withdrawal and order confirmation (Articles 98.7 and 103(m) of the Spanish TRLGDCU), and billing data.
  • Consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR): newsletter. You give it by ticking the box and confirming it from the link we email you (double opt-in); you can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to info@siriolegal.com.
  • Affiliate programme: performance of the contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) to manage your participation and pay your commissions, and legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR) for the invoices and accounting and tax records of the commissions paid. Recording which affiliate recommended a customer is based on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in paying the agreed commission; it does not change the customer's price or terms, and the customer can object by writing to info@siriolegal.com.
  • Origin of the visit: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article 22(2) LSSI-CE) to remember it in your browser for 60 days, which you can withdraw at any time from “Cookie settings”; and our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in knowing which channels deliver results, to store it with your sign-up, subscription or purchase (with no data that identifies you beyond that record).

Who we share your data with

To provide the service we rely on the following providers, who act as data processors and only process your data on our instructions:

  • Hosting provider (server in the United States): hosts the website and the database with all the data described in this policy.
  • Artificial intelligence providers (United States): receive the company details needed to draft the documents (name, registered office, tax ID, registration details and contact email) and your questionnaire answers. Never your password.
  • Payment provider (European Union): processes the payment on its own secure page; we never see or store your card or payment details. If you choose a deferred payment, it is provided by a third party under its own terms.
  • Email delivery provider (United States): sends the emails about your account, your orders and the newsletter.
  • Business email provider: manages our mailboxes (for example, info@siriolegal.com). To handle that email we use artificial intelligence tools, and a person reviews every reply before it is sent.
  • Internal technical alert tools: receive alerts about how the service is running, which may include an order reference, never your name or email.
  • Bank (European Union): if you are an affiliate, receives your name and payment details to make the commission transfers.

Transfers to the United States are made under the safeguards provided for in Chapter V of the GDPR (standard contractual clauses).

If you use siriolegal from outside the European Union (for example, from the United States), the service is provided from Spain and your data is processed in Spain and in the United States, as described in this policy. If you live in California, please also read the section “Privacy Notice for California Residents”.

How long we keep your data

For as long as your account remains active. You can delete it yourself at any time from the "Your account" section: doing so deletes from our database your account, your questionnaires, the generated documents, the download log and the associated technical access data. Suggestions you have sent us through the customer support inbox are kept in dissociated form, without your email address or any data that could identify you.

The only exception is invoices: if you have paid for an order, we keep from that purchase the recipient details that every invoice must show (name or company name, tax ID and address), together with the amount and date, and the proof of your waiver of the right of withdrawal (date and time, IP address and accepted text), for the period required by commercial and tax law. This is a legal obligation that Article 17(3)(b) GDPR itself places ahead of the right to erasure. That information is unlinked from your account, which is deleted anyway, and does not include your email address or the generated documents.

Newsletter: your data is kept for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we keep your email marked as unsubscribed, with the subscription, confirmation and unsubscription dates, to be able to prove the consent you gave and not write to you again. If you want us to delete it completely, email info@siriolegal.com. An unconfirmed subscription receives no email other than the confirmation one.

Affiliate programme: your affiliate data is kept while you take part. If you leave or delete your account, we keep your payment details only until we have paid you what is owed, and your name or company name, tax ID and country, together with the commissions paid, for the retention period for accounting and tax records (six years, Article 30 of the Spanish Commercial Code). If you are a customer, the record of which affiliate recommended you is deleted with your account; commissions remain linked only to the order, without your data.

For security and to ensure the continuity of the service, we make regular backups of the database, which are kept with restricted access. The server's technical logs are automatically overwritten as new ones are generated.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to info@siriolegal.com. You can rectify your contact details and delete your account directly from the "Your account" section, without needing to write to us. You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) if you believe we have not handled your request properly.

Privacy Notice for California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

This notice supplements the Privacy Policy above and applies to consumers who are residents of California, under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA). The business responsible for your personal information is WAKANDA MARKETING SL (NIF B55286579), Calle Santiago Ramón y Cajal, nº 32, L4, 17190 Salt (Girona), Spain — info@siriolegal.com. Terms such as “personal information” have the meaning given to them by the CCPA.

Personal information we collect, and why

In the last 12 months we have collected the following categories of personal information, directly from you or from the devices you use:

  • Identifiers: company name, email address, IP address and account details. Used to create and run your account, deliver the service and keep it secure.
  • Customer records and commercial information: registered office, tax ID, registration details, your orders (documents purchased, price, date) and the record of your acceptance of our terms. Used to process payments, issue order confirmations and comply with accounting and tax obligations.
  • Professional or business information and the content you give us: your sector, countries of operation, questionnaire answers and the documents generated for you. Used to generate your documents.
  • Internet or network activity: the browser and device you sign in from, the server's technical logs and the log of your document downloads. Used for security, fraud prevention and to keep evidence in case of a dispute.
  • Communications: messages you send us through the suggestions box or by email, and your newsletter subscription and consent records. Used to answer you and, if you subscribed, to send you the newsletter.
  • Affiliate programme data, if you take part: payment details, tax ID and the commissions generated. Used to manage the programme and pay commissions.

Sensitive personal information: the only item that may qualify as sensitive personal information under the CCPA is your account log-in credentials (email and password; the password is stored in encrypted form). We use it only to authenticate you and keep your account secure, and not to infer characteristics about you. We do not otherwise collect sensitive personal information.

Who we disclose it to

We disclose personal information for business purposes to the service providers described under “Who we share your data with” in the Privacy Policy (hosting, artificial intelligence, payments, email delivery and, for affiliates, banking), who are bound by contract to use it only to provide their services to us.

We do not sell or share your personal information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have no actual knowledge of selling or sharing the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age. Because we do not sell or share personal information, we do not offer a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link.

How long we keep it

As described under “How long we keep your data” in the Privacy Policy.

Your California privacy rights

  • Right to know: ask us which categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it and to whom we disclosed it.
  • Right to delete: ask us to delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to the exceptions in the law (for example, invoices we are legally required to keep). You can also delete your account yourself from the “Your account” section.
  • Right to correct: ask us to correct inaccurate personal information. You can edit your contact details from the “Your account” section.
  • Right to opt out of sale or sharing, and right to limit the use of sensitive personal information: not applicable, because we do not sell or share personal information and we only use sensitive personal information as described above.
  • Right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights: we will not deny you the service, charge you a different price or give you a different quality of service because you exercise your rights.

How to exercise your rights

Email info@siriolegal.com from the address linked to your account, telling us which right you want to exercise. We may ask you for information to verify that you are the person concerned, and we will only use it for that purpose. You can also use an authorized agent: we will ask for proof that you authorized them. We will respond within 45 days; if we need more time (up to another 45 days) we will tell you why. If we deny a request, we will explain the reason.

Changes to this notice

We will update this notice when our practices change, and the date at the top of this page will show the latest update.

Cookie Policy

siriolegal.com does not use advertising or third-party cookies. We store information in your browser (local storage, localStorage) in three cases, which you can choose in the notice you see when you arrive and change at any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer or the button below. Accepting and rejecting are equally easy. Your choice is remembered for 12 months at most, after which we ask you again.

Necessary (always on)

Your account session (“siriolegal_token”), the price zone you pick (“siriolegal_zona”), the state of a payment in progress in the tab (session storage, deleted when you close it) and your own choice about these cookies (“siriolegal_consent”, up to 12 months). They are technically necessary for the service to work and are therefore exempt from the consent requirement under Article 22(2) of the LSSI-CE. They are first-party.

Measurement and visit origin (optional)

If you accept, we store in your browser's local storage, under the key “siriolegal_origen”, which channel you came from: the campaign parameters in the address (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign), the affiliate code if there is one, the domain of the website you came from and the page you entered on (the first and the last time you arrived with any of those signals). It is our own (not shared with third parties), lasts 60 days from the last visit with a signal, and its purpose is to know which channel the visit came through, so we can measure which actions deliver results. It contains neither your name nor your email. If you sign up, subscribe to the newsletter or buy, that origin is stored together with that record (see the Privacy Policy). If you reject it, the origin is only kept in the tab's memory while it stays open and is lost when you reload or close it.

Affiliate programme (optional)

If you arrive through an affiliate's link (an address containing “?ref=”) and you accept, we remember their code in your browser's local storage (key “siriolegal_ref”) for 60 days, so we can attribute the commission to them if you sign up or buy. It is first-party, contains none of your data and is not shared with anyone. If you do not accept, the code is only used during that visit, without being stored.

How to withdraw or change your consent

At any time, with “Cookie settings” (footer or the button below): when you reject a category we immediately delete what we had stored. You can also clear this site's data in your browser.

If we add other non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your explicit consent before activating them, and you will be able to reject them as easily as you accept them.

Terms of Use

These terms govern the use of siriolegal.com and of the legal document generation service provided by WAKANDA MARKETING SL.

Acceptance of the terms

Using siriolegal.com implies acceptance of these terms. In addition, before each purchase we ask you to accept them expressly, in the version shown at the top of this page. The Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy are for information only: they explain how we process your data and do not require acceptance. If you do not agree with these terms, you must refrain from using the website and the service.

Nature of the service

siriolegal is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Documents are generated with the assistance of artificial intelligence from legislative excerpts in our knowledge base and from the information you provide; they are not a substitute for review by a legal professional, especially in regulated sectors (health, finance) or when the service is aimed at minors.

Every citation in the document is checked automatically against that knowledge base. If one cannot be verified, we still deliver the document, with a notice on your "My documents" page and a note next to that citation in the downloaded file, so you can review it before publishing. If your sector is high-risk (health, finance, minors or sensitive data), the document is delivered with a notice: don't publish it without a lawyer reviewing it.

Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you provide (your company's identification details, country of operation, sector) and for keeping your password safe.

Price and payment

Customers in the European Union: the price of the service is €9.99 per document generated, or €6.99 per document when 3 or more documents are requested in the same order. These prices include VAT (21%).

Customers outside the European Union (for example, in the United States): the price is $9.99 (USD) per document generated, or $6.99 (USD) per document when 3 or more documents are requested in the same order. You are charged in US dollars and no VAT is added, because the service is supplied electronically to customers located outside the European Union. Any taxes that may apply in your own country to this purchase are not included in the price.

Payment is made before the document is generated: there is no subscription and there are no recurring charges; you pay once for the documents you request, each at the price shown.

Which price applies depends on where you are: you choose your zone (European Union or outside the European Union) before paying, and we check your billing country and the country of your card when we charge you. If you chose the price with no VAT but your billing country or your card is in the European Union, we cannot provide the service at that price: we refund the full payment, nothing is generated, and you can buy again at the European Union price.

Payment is made through our payment provider, on its secure payment page. You can pay with the methods shown on that page (for example, credit or debit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, depending on your device and country). If you choose a deferred payment, it is provided by a third party under its own terms. siriolegal never sees or stores your card details. You are charged when you confirm the payment on that page. Generation of your documents starts on our servers right after the payment is confirmed, even if you close the page, and we email you the order confirmation.

We may temporarily pause new purchases for technical maintenance. Orders already paid for are not affected and are still generated.

Right of withdrawal

The documents are digital content not supplied on a tangible medium. That is why, before paying, we ask you, in a separate box, to expressly request that generation of your documents begin immediately after payment and to acknowledge that you therefore lose the 14-day right of withdrawal (Article 103(m) of Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, TRLGDCU). Without ticking that box the purchase cannot be completed. After payment we email you the order confirmation, with the exact text of that waiver, its date and the version of these terms.

Refunds and legal guarantee of conformity

Losing the right of withdrawal does not affect your legal guarantee of conformity (Articles 114 et seq. of the Spanish TRLGDCU). If a document you have paid for is not delivered, generation fails or the document does not conform to what you ordered (for example, it is incomplete, is not the type of document ordered or does not use the data you gave us), you are entitled to have it brought into conformity by generating it again free of charge. If that is not possible or we do not do it within a reasonable time, you can ask for a proportionate price reduction or to terminate the contract and get back the amount paid for that document.

If generation fails, your order remains paid and you can try again without paying again from "My documents". For any claim, email info@siriolegal.com quoting the order reference shown in the confirmation email. Refunds are made to the same payment method, through our payment provider.

Liability

Nothing below limits your legal guarantee of conformity or any other right you have by law as a consumer.

siriolegal generates documents from the data you provide and from the legislative excerpts available in our knowledge base at the time of generation. We do not guarantee that the result covers all the legislation applicable to your specific business: when we detect a coverage gap, we warn you explicitly on your “My documents” page, but the absence of such a warning does not amount to a guarantee of full coverage either.

Therefore, siriolegal is not liable for:

  • Legal gaps not covered by the legislative excerpts available at the time of generation.
  • The content you ultimately publish on your website, or the consequences of publishing it without review by a legal professional.
  • Third-party claims — from customers, users or authorities — arising from the use or publication of the generated documents.
  • Errors or omissions caused by incomplete or inaccurate data you provided in the questionnaire.

It is your responsibility to review each document before publishing it and, especially in regulated sectors or high-risk cases, to have it reviewed by a lawyer. To the extent permitted by law, and except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence, siriolegal's liability to you is limited to the amount actually paid for the service, without prejudice to the guarantee of conformity described above.

Affiliate programme

If you take part in our affiliate programme, that relationship is also governed by the Affiliate Programme Terms, published at siriolegal.com/en/affiliates/terms. Coming to siriolegal through an affiliate's recommendation does not change the price or terms of your purchase.

Changes

WAKANDA MARKETING SL reserves the right to modify, at any time and without prior notice, the content, design, operation, prices and these terms of use of the website. Such changes will not affect orders already confirmed and paid for before they come into force: the price and terms of an order are fixed at the moment you confirm it, as explained in "Price and payment" above.

Dispute resolution

If you are a consumer and a dispute arises, you can turn to the Spanish Consumer Arbitration Boards (Juntas Arbitrales de Consumo) or to your local Municipal Consumer Information Office (OMIC), or to the consumer protection authorities of your country of residence.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms, and any dispute relating to them or to the service, are governed by Spanish law, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply. This applies to all users, including those in the United States. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection that the mandatory rules of your country of residence give you and that cannot be excluded by contract.

For any dispute, the parties submit to the courts of the consumer's domicile where the user is a consumer and the applicable law so permits, or to the courts of Girona (Spain) in any other case. This does not prevent either party from seeking urgent interim relief from any competent court.
